How to enable Third Party Cookies
for OpenDSA-LTI provider tool

We have included instructions to enable third-party cookies in various browsers below. Then click here to reload this page to check if your changes have worked.

Google Chrome:

1. Open Settings menu.
2. Click on 'Show advanced settings...' link and scroll down to 'Privacy'.
3. Click on the 'Content settings...' button.
4. Under 'Cookies' click 'Manage exceptions' button.
5. Add https://lti.cs.vt.edu as new 'Hostname pattern' and select 'Allow' Behavior.

Firefox:

1. Open Settings menu and choose Options.
2. Select the Privacy panel.
3. Under History set Firefox will: to Use custom settings for history.
4. Check mark Accept cookies from sites to enable cookies.
5. Click Exceptions button.
6. Add https://lti.cs.vt.edu as Address of website and click Allow button.

Safari:

1. Go to the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
2. Click Privacy in the top panel.
3. Under 'Block cookies' select the option 'Never.'

Opera:

1. Go to preferences menu and select Privacy and security submenu.
2. Under 'Cookies' click 'Manage exceptions' button.
3. Add https://lti.cs.vt.edu as new 'Hostname pattern' and select 'Allow' Behavior.

Internet Explorer:

1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Privacy tab, and then move the slider to a position between the top and bottom so you are not blocking or allowing all cookies.
3. Click Sites.
4. In the Address of website box, type https://lti.cs.vt.edu, and then click Block or Allow.
5. Move the slider back to the position it was originally in, and then click OK.
